Gazoo Racing Japan Chief Engineer Hiroyuki Yamada San Visits our Lamspeed Racing Workshop!
On the weekend (22nd August, 2026) we had the pleasure of having Hiroyuki Yamada San, chief engineer of Gazoo Racing and his team from Japan visit us at our workshop.
It was a privledge to show case some of our own GR Yaris' along with some of our customer builds.
During his visit we discussed the GR Yaris and GR Corolla platform and the experience we have had in terms of which issues we faced whilst pushing this platform to its limits.
Whilst on that topic I was able to show him the solutions I have developed alongside my team to resolve those issues, which got his approval!
The discussion of what entails for the future of Lamspeed Racing and the GR Yaris platform was brought up and what we have planned is still in the works.
