The new Toyota GR Yaris steering wheel, introduced on the upgraded Type 26 model, was completely redesigned using feedback from professional race drivers. It features a smaller diameter for quicker inputs, a motorsport-inspired switch layout to prevent accidental presses, and ringed illumination for nighttime driving.

Key Design Changes
- Smaller Diameter: The rim shrinks from 365 mm down to 360 mm, providing sharper and quicker steering responses.
- Motorsports Grip: Thumb rests have been removed to create a smooth, continuous rim, while the grip areas were enlarged to sit more comfortably in the palms during high-G cornering.
- Repositioned Switches: All control buttons have been moved further away from the driver's hands. This prevents the driver from accidentally clicking buttons when doing aggressive hand-over-hand turning or rallying.
- Illuminated Controls: Steering-mounted switches now feature ringed illumination, making them much easier to see and operate in the dark.
- Badge Removal: The central Toyota badge has been removed from the wheel for a cleaner, racing-focused look.

Note: This is a direct bolt on fit to all Automatic Toyota GR Yaris'. This model does not include the heater.
