Lamspeed Racing - EMtron KV8 Adaptor Harness with Lambda - Mitsubishi Evo 7/8 GSR

This kit is designed to easily integrate Emtron KV series (REV_2 ECU’s) into the Mitsubishi Evo 7/8 GSR Evolution Lancers. The Bracket available will mount a KV series ECU in the factory ECU location. Below are a few tables outlining Input and Output assignments. Use these to Configure and test functions before attempting to start the engine. It is recommended that this work be carried out by a licensed Auto electrician / Vehicle Repairer any engine tuning or calibration should only be performed by someone with extensive experience in tuning Aftermarket Engine Management systems. It is the responsibility of the Installer to check components like injectors (and their impedance) are suitable for use with any Calibration file that may be loaded into the ECU. Any devices plugged into the ECU that can potentially cause failure to the engine or its components should be unplugged until the Calibration and operation can be confirmed to be correct.
Expansion Connectors
The following Assignment of Input/Outputs are Intended purpose only, they are not limited to the described functions, They can be reassigned to suit specific requirements along with any OEM functions that will no longer be used. Example: DI 7 & DI 8 - used as Narrow band lambda in OEM applications. Commonly no longer required when using either in built Wideband LSU 4.9 channel. (Separate ECU ‘A’ connector Extension loom required). DI 7 & DI 8 can now be used for any other Engine or Vehicle Function, e.g Gear Shift Force and Gear Position when using a sequential Transmission.
**NOTE - 120 ohm termination resistor required when ECU is located at the end of the BUS. see Emtron KV user manual for more information.
** Installers responsibility to make sure no sensors able to generate High currents are attached to sensor 0V supply**
