Lamspeed Racing Motorsport Oil Cooler Kit - Toyota GR Yaris 2020+

Details:

With our many years in motorsport, anyone who plans on doing anything serious, we highly recommend them install an oil cooler kit. With data obtained over the first 10 months of R&D in the Toyota GR Yaris platform shows that with the factory 0w20 engine oil around the circuit we would witness oil temperatures above 120°C.

With the engine oil getting this hot and the engine oil deteriorating, this lead us to design our engine oil cooler kit with only the best products available.

After fitting this kit with the data shown through our MoTeC ECU, our oil temperatures did not exceed 96°C.

Our motorsport engine oil cooler kit consists of:
- SETRAB ProLine 13 Row Oil Cooler Core
- Mocal sandwich plate with 80°C thermostat
- Speedflow/SETRAB -10AN Billet fittings and braided oil lines
- CNC laser cut and bent stainless steel mounting bracket and fasteners.

Fit for purpose
After tracking my Yaris GR with an exhaust and tune I was seeing oil temperatures of around 130deg celcius. After fitting the Lamspeed Racing oil cooler kit as they described oil temps never went above 96deg celcius. Great investment.

Had temps of over 135c on track on a mild day. Had to run a couple push and then a cool lap straight away. After this I could practically push all day. Temps didn’t go above 95c. Strongly recommend

Previously I had oil temps of 130c on stock power after a few laps of SMSP. With upgraded power, I hit that same 130c after 1 flying lap. Choosing not to blow up my engine I ended my track night. This cooler did not allow oil to go above 100c lap after lap session after session. A must if you are tracking or upgrading power on your Yaris.
